Debra Washington is a Managing Director and Mortgage Outreach Officer based in New York City. She is a highly organized community relationship manager with extensive expertise in affordable housing financing, customer service, account management, and sales. Debra excels at fostering interactions and strengthening relationships with clients, non-profits, and government agencies, ensuring their needs are met.
With over 20 years of experience in financial services, Debra brings a wealth of knowledge to Peapack Private. Most recently, she served as Senior Community Loan Advisor at Flagstar Bank's New York Region, where she specialized in client consultation, loan application assistance, financial assessment, community outreach, relationship management, and compliance with industry standards. Prior to that, she held several key positions, including Senior Community Outreach Relationship Manager and Loan Officer for the NYC and CT Region at First Republic Bank and Vice President and Relationship Manager/Community Reinvestment Act Officer at Sterling National Bank.
Debra holds a Bachelor of Administration from Audrey Cohen College and a Master of Business Administration from the Metropolitan College of New York. She has completed certification programs in Wharton Executive Education Leadership Development, Harvard Extension School Leadership and Communications Development, Community Reinvestment Act and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act Data Analysis, Sheshunoff Regulation Compliance, and continuing education in Underwriting Construction Loans at New York University.
